About the artist

I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. First artistic interest was in 7th grade when project in art class led to a scholarship offer at the Cleveland Art Institute. However I didn't pursue the scholarship at that time preferring music to visual arts.

It was after retirement from a career in dentistry that my artistic interest renewed. Stone sculpture seemed to be a natural fit. I sculpt at the Art Center of Northern NJ in New Milford with my “summer studio” on our front porch.
